Here is the second wedding we had the pleasure of covering last weekend. Heather and Casey were married on Sunday April 22nd and have been a joy to work with over the past eight months. They made it clear from the beginning that photography was their number one priority for their wedding so naturally we were very flattered that they trusted and chose us.
Enough talking. Here are the pics!
Tim’s Touch provided the flowers.
This was the first time we’d had the pleasure of working at Four O’ Three in Lexington. They have a very nice facility and gardens. It’s a great place if you’re looking to have an outdoor wedding and reception. Catering by Dupre provided some delicious food and great service.

Da boys.
I don’t know what she ate, but it turned her tongue blue!
Denied!
First Dance
Stephen Curtis with Soundquest DJ’s provided the tunes and entertainment. We always enjoy working with Stephen.
Look at them going for the garter! We usually see guys watching it in the air with hands in their pockets!
The flower girl dancing with mom.
Last Dance
The "bird safe" rice send-off.
Leaving on the ‘Stang.
They came back for a few more shots on the porch. They were staying overnight in the bridal suite at Four O’ Three before departing the next morning for the honeymoon.
Congratulations!

Becki and I were blessed to cover two fantastic weddings last weekend. On Saturday April 21st, Angela and Peter were married at the amphitheater at Riverfront Park. A reception followed at the Palmetto Club in Columbia.
After a quick stroll across the bridge, they took a carriage ride over to the Palmetto Club.
Mmmmmm…. Cake….
They had Angwish over to play. Great band!
They even had ice cream flown in all the way from Angela’s mom’s shop in San Francisco!
First Dance. Sometimes we get lucky and a guest’s flash will give us a cool effect!
Angwish played a great variety of tunes. Some of their own stuff plus a lot of familiar songs from REM to the Beatles. Everyone had a great time.
The sparkler send-off.
Congratulations Angela & Peter!

We went down to the State House for Nan and Clint’s Love Story session this week. Here are some of our favorites.

They had been calling for rain all week for this past Saturday, April 14th. Tessa was obviously nervous all week since the ceremony was planned outdoors at the Riverbanks Zoo Botanical Gardens. Thankfully, the rain held off until 11pm and the weather and wedding were perfect.
Enjoy the pics!
Scott with American Floral provided the flowers. Mary Anne with Columbia Weddings by Design helped with the planning and setup.
The girls were having fun watching guests arrive before the ceremony.
Tessa’s mom Diane was the first to stand for the processional. Becki was on top of it and got the shot.
Apparently Jeremy tried to kill one of his groomsmen earlier in the day. He hit him in the head with a golf ball! Let’s see if the swelling has gone down…
Rebecca Addy made the cake. She’s one of the best (if not THE best in the midlands). Shoot me an email if you want her contact info.
Musician Chris Conner was there.
Stephen Curtis with Soundquest DJ’s provided the music and a little entertainment.
The bubble send-off.

We went down to Folly Beach again last week for Sara & Richard’s Love Story session. It was the first time I had the pleasure of meeting them. They booked us last year over the phone for their June wedding in Roswell, GA. You can advertize all you want to, but referrals are the key to success of any business.
Enjoy!
I love it when they bring props!

Michelle & Jason were married on April 7, 2007 at the Sand Dunes Club on Sullivans Island. The couple and the wedding were a lot of fun. Here are some of our favorites.

Jason

They decided to see each other before the ceremony. He just had no idea when….

Priceless!

Jason showing off his ring. He had it tatooed on that week. Michelle came up with the design.

This was a referral from a couple whose wedding we photographed last year. Thanks again Stephanie and David!!

As you can see, Michelle is not shy to show how she really feels!
Congratulations Michelle & Jason!

We had a lot of fun last week with Lane and Sean at Folly Beach. Here are a few teasers:
This is a perfect example of why we do these sessions. We want to capture the real stuff. This image will be as priceless to them in 30-40 years as it is today. Becki and I would give anything to have images like this of us 12 years ago. I think that is why we love what we do so much.
The sky was amazing. The only thing I did in Photoshop to this one was add a little vignette and the border/logo.

This was supposed to be a warm, springtime session! The temps were in the 50′s all day, but we didn’t hear Huong or Craig complain one bit. They had a great time in downtown Charleston during their Love Story session last week. Here are some of our favorites.

Lindsay and Zakk were married March 31, 2007 at Crosswell Baptist Church in Sumter. Lindsay’s father and Zakk’s father are both ministers so they performed the ceremony together. The ceremony was very touching and Becki and I enjoyed hearing stories about how Lindsay and Zakk met and how they got engaged.
Anyway here are some pics!
Hide your bridesmaids!
Lindsay got Zakk this awesome CYMA watch.

I love it. The younger flower girl circled back to greet Lindsay about half way down the aisle.

We had to get a few on Zakk’s bike.

Those eyes!

She liked to spin!

They couldn’t decide whether to leave in the classic car or on the bike…
The bike won. Here’s the departure.. complete with cool smoke effects!
Congratulations!

Congratulations to Zach Johnson for winning the 2007 Masters Tournament. I got this shot of Zach on Wednesday during the Par 3 Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. Check out the belt!
